About the Trauma Recovery Network
A Trauma Recovery Network (TRN) is a collaboration of emergency response volunteer mental health clinicians bringing quality and evidence-based mental health care to those affected by man-made and natural community disasters. The TRN utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, an evidenced-based mental health treatment modality used by trained therapists to help mitigate the mental and emotional effects of a recent trauma.
